Barbara Findeisen, MA, LMFT, is the Founder and President of the Star Foundation, President of the Association for Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health, and Founder of Pocket Sanctuary, a healing sanctuary and retreat facility in Tubac, Arizona. A psychotherapist with over 28 years of experience, Barbara created and is Clinical Director of the STAR workshop, a profoundly transformative 10-day retreat designed to accelerate self-healing and personal growth. Barbara is trained in a variety of experiential therapies and is regarded as one of the world’s leading experts in the field of Pre- and Perinatal psychology, the study of the psychological impact of birth. Currently, Barbara is also a member of the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies. She is a graduate of Stanford University and has been in private practice since 1976. Barbara is the narrator and producer of two documentary films, Journey to Be Born and the Psychology of Birth, and has been a guest on numerous radio and television talk shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show. She serves as the Vice President of the Helen Graham Park Foundation. |
